Friendly People and Untouched Nature
The peaceful town of Siegersdorf is situated along the Fischa river which rises 4 km south of the town in the so-called “Dagnitz-Au”. You will find a lot “Heuriger”, very friendly people and a beautiful landscape, thus making it a beloved get-away for bikers and hikers. It is located only a short distance west of Pottendorf in the foothills of the “Steinfeld”.
West of Siegersdorf you may visit the nature protection area known as the “Siegersdorfer Had” which ranges over approx. 30 km². The amazingly preserved dry grassy area is a part of the northern rock fields “Steinfeld” and offers an impressive variety of biodiversity.
